First Ever, Farm Technology Days Auction: This year, the WI Auctioneers Association recruited various members to bring donated items to the 2011 Farm Technology Days Show to put on the first ever live auction! The auction will be held from 4:30 to 5:00 p.m. in the Family Living Tent on Tuesday, July 12th and Wednesday, July 13th. Just like any other auction, purchase a number and then let the bidding begin!
RJ Stockwell, Inc. Land & Auction Company from Dorchester will be there to help ensure the auction runs smoothly.
Family Living, Arts and Crafts Tents: Enjoy strolling through a wide variety of informational and educational displays for the whole family to enjoy. There will be entertainment daily on the stage to capture your family's attention. In addition there will be an arts and crafts tent where you will find talented vendors with a unique assortment of arts and craft items for sale. The Family Living theme for this year is "Bringing Families Back to Basics."

Field Demonstrations: Field demonstrations will be expanded to include a wide array of attractions including multiple forms of forage cutting and harvesting. Cutting, merging, bailing, chopping and storage demonstrations will provide newer technologies of interest to the large, small and hobby-scale farm and rural attendees. Hundreds of equipment manufacturers and dealers from the Midwest will be on site to discuss your needs and available options.

Food Tent: Take a break from your day and enjoy a great lunch, dessert, or a cold beverage at one of the six food tents located around the grounds. You might want to consider eating prior to 11:30 or after 1:00 to beat the lunch rush! Click to view the menu and prices.
Ride and Drive: Take advantage of an opportunity to test drive and compare tractors, lawn implements, skid steer loaders, utility vehicles and much more at the ride and drive area adjacent to tent city.
Youth Tent: The youth tent will be a hub of activities for young people of all ages at the 2011 Wisconsin Farm Technology Days! The Family Farm Adventure will feature hands-on activities in the production of food. The youth tent will have many educational displays and hands-on activities that will feature interactive learning about agriculture and youth programs. Included in these activities will be the State FFA Soil Judging Contest and the State FFA Tractor Operators Contest. The youth tent stage will highlight talent from around the state. The 2011 Marathon County Youth Tent will have something for all youth!
Heritage Equipment Display: The North Central Wisconsin Steam and Gas Engine Club will put on a mini-version of the Steam and Gas Engine Show that takes place the last week of August every year. Stop by to watch threshing and the sawing of lumber on a sawmill run by steam engines and hear the steam whistle from the Marshfield Steam Locomotive 2442 come alive! Join us on Heritage Hill and enjoy the collection of heritage tractors and engines.
